eating healthily // posted by: lilly |
Recently, I've recognised myself wanting to eat more sweets. But then, I thought about what is going on and finally found out that the day before, I ate half of a big pack of chocolates. And a whole pack another night. And 3 cans of energy drink another morning... So as I thought about it, I felt the need of change. I know, loosing balance happens with everybody, mainly because of the changes of conditions, not paying enough attention on your health, rushing lifestyles and things like that. But then you need to have the self control and self criticism to realise - you're going the wrong way.
That is why I am thinking about a change. Generally I try to eat healthy food, but while I don't have much money on spending all of it on "holy-innocent-bio-recycled-orange-juices" and "fresh-bio-extra-ecofriendly-held-sardella", sometimes I have to choose the healthier ones from the cheapest. This way when I am hungry and don't want to spend all my money on that hunger, I just buy the cheapest I can find which is most of the time chocolate or some biscuits.
I know, it may be true for most of the population, but if you have the opportunity, try to be healthy! I really don't understand humanity in some points. For example I go into a shop and all that I see is chocolate and biscuits if not chips. Why do people hate each other so much? Do you really want to make my fat? Do you want me to die at 35 because of diabetes? I certainly don't want to, but if I don't have the money... People, why don't you put oranges and tomatoes and carrots in that shop? Chocolates are okay, but why don't you put LESS? This way you could also put vegetables and fruits so that I can choose. The price is the same as I would pay for the chocolate, but you feel yourself so much better afterwards.
I think it may happen because of the stimulating effect of the chocolate. Children see it, cry for it, and got it, as well as the shop's owner got what he wanted. Of course children won't cry for a carrot or cabbage, but if others' children do it, so will your's.
But well, if shop owners don't change their minds, we are the ones who have to change.

blogging by // posted by: lilly |
Okay so I already have time to make something here and perhaps clean up the mess I've created recently.
Well guys, I wanted to make my blog RoCk, but it is still not okay. Perhaps the lack of time and experience, but hey, I've got everything for a good start, I just make to keep up writting and everything will be fine. Just in case :D I want to make modules. Yes, really at last. :D
So that perhaps I could make my own e-books about different topics, just like, what to do to make extra money, time management and happiness, how to loose weight dramatically without yoyo-effect, crafting, photoshop basics, photoshop professionals, design making, body proportions and speed drawing.

general health // posted by: lilly |
Hi there all my readers, today what I wanted to talk about is... Health! Yeah, you got it. Health is very important to all of us because it is something that if you don't care about, you can never get back. Health is youth. Health is beauty. And who doesn't wanna be young and gorgeous?
Well, I want to improve myself, mentally and physically, so I'll make some posts about the importance of health. A lot of people - just like me - for example doesn't know how to sit in the best way. Sounds ridiculous, right? But think a bit first, do YOU know, which sitting pose is the best for your back and bones? Because if you sit in the wrong position for the lenght of a lifetime, your back will hurt or... even worse...
Life is made of cycles, and if you do everything in the wrong way again and again, it will have its negative effects on your life and you may not have a second chance.
But what is health? According to
wikipedia it's:
Health is the level of efficiency of a living being. In humans, it is the general condition of a person's mind and body, to be free from illness, injury or pain.
Personal health depends on the genes and the personal actions for minimizing the effects of a disease. They also include personal hygiene practices to prevent illness, such as bathing and washing hands with soap; brushing teeth; storing and handling food safely. The information gleaned from personal observations of daily living - sleep patterns, exercise behavior, nutritional intake, and environmental features, (e.g., "I feel tired in the morning so I am going to try sleeping on a different pillow").

colour palettes // posted by: lilly |
Hi everyone! Today I made this new module, called colour palettes. I hope you will like it. I will put different kind of palettes up here with fantasy names and pictures. The pictures are not mine, no copyright offence intended, I used pictures easily accessible at devart and google.

Colours are the main things in designing, they are everywhere and communicating with the viewer diectly. They can create the basic athmosphere, can cause anger, attraction, fear or can even calm you down. The intensity of the colour can be just as meaningful as the tone.

new topic // posted by: lilly |
First of all, Merry Christmas to everyone! The main thing today I wanted to talk about is that I change the site topic, my name and the language, which is very important. I don't want to have just the Hungarians as an audiance, but the whole world. So I've chosen this language.
Some pages and articles will still be available in Hungarian by clicking on the language switcher. Mainly I speak British English, so I will put the UK flag to the site to switch the language.
The new topic of the website is art of all kinds, DIY and crafting projects and fashion. Codes I will remove, because I don't want to spend much time to them - lack of interest. -.-' In icons and Spanish I am still interested but networking... Not so much to keep up the flow of freshes making new and new codes.
Here I'll put up the pictures of the week, my own favourites from devart :
